I want to start a reggaeton/rap carrer at age 18-20, am i starting late or am i still at time?

i want to become a reggaeton(latin danceable version of rap) artist, and im only 18,

i want to start to record an album of about 12 songs

and start making parties and making presentations at clubs and stuff, (il be around 19 or 20 by then)

and try to get on radio stations and get my stuff playing

anyways my big point is, im only 18 and im going to start to record as soon as i move to the USA, anyways il be 19 when i start making the album and making parties,

am i beginning to late?

or is it still young enough to become famous?

or does it really depend on me about getting famous?

or does my age really matter as long as i get the crowds attention?

anyways, remember im 18 and il be recording when im 19 and possibly making partes at 19 or at the end of 19 or 20

whats ur opinion

i dont think age really matters as long as your talented. Daddy yankee is still hot and he's in his 30's ..and don omar is old.

Reggaeton = mierda
hahahahhahahahahahahahahhahaha.......bre...

that made my day
go for it!

age aint nothin but a number!
Age shouldn't make a difference as long as you have the talent.
Mierda = Reggaeton
age has nothing to do with success, you can be 28 and still be making good music...its your music, personality and talent that counts. =)
Your still young hun, you got time. You should get started now though.
You are ontime to be a reggaeton/rap carrer or a little time far but still close:-) Glad i could help!
not at all. you are thinking of teenybopper music and not legedary music if you think you are too old.

My word or warning is be relistic, it is extemly hard to break into the indsrty. just take it slow. :)
of course its not to late, most of the people that that listen to reggaeton is in the club. and im sure they don't want to be dancing to someone under 18 unless you are Soulja Boy.
The tone of your questions is so wrong: Go to the US, then record an album, promote it in parties, get on the radios an get famous lol. Unless you have a good entourage doing the thinking for you, you shouldnt even think about recording, you should focuss on developping that brain and your intellectual tools. I really dont want to sound rude but before being an artist you have to be a business man and youre commerce is to sell records. Age has nothing to do with being a good business man or not. Dont get it twisted, its the business skills before the talent. Wisin y Yandel and the team behind them are more smart businessman then amazing artists. Plus the business youre getting into is filled of sharks. Go read another post i did for somoene who was just like you: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
